Gavin Rossdale Says Marriage is Challenging

Gavin Rossdale has actually stated that being married to Gwen Stefani is challenging. Now, I’m almost certain he didn’t mean anything too negative by this especially when he knows his wife is going to hear about it.

What he probably meant was with all the publicity his wife, Gwen Stefani, gets is challenging. I mean they never get a private moment together, at least not one that is without a flash of light.

He also mentions how much he hates being called, “Gwen’s Rocker Hubby.” Whether he is or not is another story, but I’m sure the guy would like to be called by his name.

He recently wrote on his myspace page:

“It’s been a tough few years for me because I’ve been lost in how to define myself in the present tense. With that glare of the publicity on us, how can I not feel like an appendage at times?

It takes a tough man to be married to a force of nature like Gwen. ‘Rocker hubby,’ if I ever see that phrase again. It’s challenging and it forces a lot of humility.”

The couple are currently expecting their second child, due this summer.

I bet it can be challenging to be married to someone with that level of success. A man would need to be very secure with himself and his place in the world.

    Marriage is challenging anyway.
