Okay, everyone is online talking about exactly WHY Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale would name their newest little boy Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. To be honest I have no clue, but I’m sure when they (or if they) want us to know they’ll tell us. In the meantime they are probably getting a kick out of all the reasons they see online.

Here are a few that I’ve seen:

They couple named their child, Kingston, after an island that meant a lot to them. So why not name their second son after a place? Zuma is a beach in Miami where Gavin supposedly had some epiphany.

The name Nesta? Bob Marley’s first name and apparently they really like him. Bob’s son later named his own child’s middle name Nesta. I guess they are true fans if this is the case.

Rock is obvious, they just LOVE rock -n- roll and daddy sings lots of it. Or he is just their little rock. Either way this child’s name definitely means something to mom and dad but what? My guess is we’ll have to wait a while to find out.

Gavin Rossdale’s dad, you know the one that leaked that Gwen Stefani was pregnant before it was suppose to be announced, is talking about the new little ones.

Douglas Rossdale said, “Everyone is  just so very happy.  It’s fantastic news, and I’m just so happy.  I’m always proud of Gavin and my grandchildren.”

Oh what a proud grandpa he is. Don’t you think? I bet he can’t wait to get down there and have a ball with Kingston and hold the new little Zuma.

Gwen Stefani Brings Home Zuma!

Gwen Stefani brought home baby Zuma on Sunday after only checking in on Thursday and giving birth. It amazes me how quickly they boot mothers that have just given birth, but maybe Gwen was anxious to get her little family behind the privacy of her own doors. I’m sure she was a bit worried about the crowd that awaited her outside the hospital and probably her own drive.

The couple already have a 2-year-old son named Kingston, who I’m sure is very excited about meeting his new baby brother. I’m sure everyone is happily settling in at home. But don’t expect to see Gwen anytime soon, I know she was really focused on her weight while pregnant, Gavin even stated she’d couldn’t wait to get it off. I’m sure she’ll look just fine. Congrats once again to the happy family.

For the past week Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been in London and on Wednesday, June 25 they decided to cheer on Roger Federer at the Wimbledon Game. He did win his second round, so maybe the couple were actually good luck.

This obviously was taken before Gwen gave birth to her little Zuma. I bet she is happy to finally be herself again and not sharing a room with her baby. I remember those final months in the summer and they sure can wear on you. Glad to hear she’s finally given birth. But she sure looked great, even in the last months.

Gwen Stefani has a Boy

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Okay, earlier I posted Gwen Stefani had a girl, that is WRONG. Gwen Stefani had a BOY. His name is Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale and I’m sure we’ll be hearing within the next two weeks on why they picked this name. Any ideas?

About Gwen Stefani’s Newest Addition

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Okay one rumor is Gwen Stefani had a girl, another is the baby was a boy. Both rumors state the child’s name is Zuma. Here are two facts you may NOT have known about the pregnancy:

-  Gwen Stefani and Company were rushed to the hospital by police escort to give birth.

-  Gwen’s Father-in-law Douglas accidentally revealed the pregnancy earlier this year. If it hadn’t been him they may have kept it a secret for another week.

-  Kingston was to name the baby.

Seems Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears are closer than everyone thought, the two families joined forces yesterday letting the boys have a ball. Ride on vehicles were brought out for the three boys to have fun with. Course Sean had his black Cadillac, brother, Jayden was pushed around in a car by mom. Kingston had a John Deere of his own that was guided by a nanny.

Gwen Stefani has a Girl!

Gwen Stefani has reportedly given birth to a baby girl early this morning. She checked herself in to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she was scheduled to have a cesarean section. From all the sources online she has named the baby Zuma, which has led everyone to believe the baby is a girl. Congrats to the happy couple.

Gwen Stefani is Still

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Many people/fans have wrote me asking whether or not Gwen Stefani was still pregnant. YES! I don’t believe she is due for another couple of weeks, closer to September I believe. But I could be wrong.

Gwen Stefani was spotted going into the hospital this past week, no not to give birth but for the routine check up. Once out of the hospital she went straight back home, so it sounds like she’s getting into the “hurry up and be born already” part of the pregnancy.

Wishing you a speedy delivery Gwen, but not too speedy.

About Gwen Stefani

This site is about Gwen Renée Stefani, born October 3, 1969. Stefani is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer and occasional actress. Stefani debuted in 1992 as the frontwoman of the third wave ska band No Doubt, whose 1995 album Tragic Kingdom propelled them to stardom, selling sixteen million copies worldwide. It spawned the singles "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and the airplay number-one "Don't Speak". The band's popularity went into decline with its third album Return of Saturn (2000), but Rock Steady (2001) introduced dancehall and reggae production into its music, which generally received positive reviews.
